This is a replica of a Victorian formal officer's dirk with personal cutlery and Celtic knotwork design in black and silver. This beautifully made piece has been styled on a historial design of the late 19th century. The hilt has been hand carved in a basket weave pattern and decorate with metal nails compared to the moree Celtic styled hilts of the previous century. This Dirk is the ultimate development from the earlier fighting and dress Dirks of the 18th century and is still in use today.
