This is an impressive replica of the English Civil War's CSA Shelby staff sword, it is a must have item for a battle re-enactments and cosplay. This model was carried by all members of staff departments including Field Grade Offiicers of Artillery and Infantry, Staff Officers and Company Grade Officers. It was based on a French pattern. Although other swords were allowed, this model was by far the most popular sword carried by officers during the American Civil War.
