This is a replica of a Valquirias Battle Axe. The Medieval Era was most likely an exciting time for many, a life filled with dangerous encounters, fiercebattles and huge celebrations and games too. In Norse mythology, a valkryie, which means "chooser of the slain" is one of a host of female figures who choose those who may die in battle and those who may live.
