These are replicas of Medieval Shear Scissors, these sort of shears were used from Iron age to Viking times, in Viking times they were part of a woman's costume and have beeen found in many female graves. They were typically used for cutting thread, thin leather thong, hair or thin cloth. Useful for seamstresses and leather workers alike & handier to use than modern scissors.
